Duke Urologic Oncology Surgery Faculty Opportunity
The Division of Urology in the Department of Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a board eligible/certified, urologic surgeon with fellowship training in urologic oncology. Candidates must have also completed an accredited program in urology.
The primary focus of the position will be urologic oncology with a clinical appointment in the Duke Cancer Institute. The individual will work primarily at the Duke Cancer Institute and Duke University Hospital with the possibility of ambulatory clinical opportunities at satellite offices depending on future growth and needs. Ideal candidates will also have an interest in the education of medical students and residents as well as an inquisitive mind towards process improvement, clinical research or healthcare cost containment. Opportunities exist for a focused or a broad oncologic practice.
The Division currently has 21 full-time faculty members with 9 urologic oncologists and is recognized for their expertise in the full spectrum of all urologic oncologic diseases, clinical, basic, and translational research and education.
