Service line Description:
The Duke Clinical Staffing Department (DCSD - Float Pool) provides full-time and part-time personnel support during scheduled and unplanned staffing shortages across all areas of Duke University Health System, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital. Our dynamic team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) and Registered Medical Assistants (RMAs) seamlessly supports inpatient areas including Critical Care, Step-Down, Intermediate, and Pediatrics, in addition to outpatient Ambulatory/Procedural/Surgical areas. Our highly skilled team members are agile and versatile, prepared to meet the rapidly changing demands of modern healthcare. Our professionals are integral members of the care team offering unique global perspectives and experiences without the limitations of a singular care focus. Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date.
CNI - New Graduate RN - No Experience Required
CNII - Experienced RN - At least twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required as an RN.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
