The Nursing Assistant (NA) for the Ambulatory Nursing division is an active support member of the nursing team, responsible for applying basic nursing support. The NA properly uses equipment, material and supplies in the perianesthesia environment to complete tasks. The incumbent will assist the RN with perianesthesia patient care; obtain vital signs; electrocardiograms; perform pre-operative shaving; and transport patients throughout the facility, among other duties.
