The Licensed Practical Nurse assigned to the COVID 19 Services (screening/swabbing) exhibits knowledge and skills necessary for concentrated effort and self-direction. The COVID 19 Services provides care to Veterans in non-traditional ambulatory care settings, and provide nursing support throughout the facility to care for Veterans with acute and chronic health conditions, with age ranges from young adult to older/geriatric and diverse in culture and religious/gender orientation.
