Recruiting for a full-time Neurologist for the Truman VAMC in Columbia, Missouri. As a VA professional, your opportunities are endless. As a Neurologist, the duties will include but are not limited to: Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to adults and geriatric ambulatory and hospitalized patients at Truman VA with diseases, disorders or impaired functions of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, muscles and autonomic nervous system including their covering and blood vessels. Procedures include but not limited to lumbar puncture. Procedures authorized for ambulatory care, inpatient and long term care setting. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; and sometimes include call expectations. Financial Disclosure Report: Not required Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Authorized - This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan reimbursement program. To participate in the program, you must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA Policy 1021 and submit your application within four months of appointment. The final award amount and eligibility period (one to five years) is determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services office.
