Fairview Health Services is looking for an Endoscopy Technician at Maple Grove Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Maple Grove, MN. This is a full-time benefit eligible position. The Ambulatory Surgery Center is currently open Monday- Friday between the hours of 0700 am and 400pm.
Fairview Maple Grove Ambulatory Surgery Center is a partnership with University of MN Physicians where you will find more than 20 medical specialties in one convenient location. Our patients have access to primary and specialty care for pediatrics and adults which also includes a cancer center, breast center and the ambulatory surgery center. We have 4 Endoscopy Procedure rooms.
The Endoscopy Technician is an integral part of the GI team within the Endoscopy department who under the guidance and direction of the nursing team accomplishes a variety of delegated tasks such as equipment and supply set-up, cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and scopes, exam room prep and clean-up including the documentation of cleaning and disinfection processes. They will complete direct patient care duties to ensure optimal patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
Graduate of an acredited: Surgical Tech, or Endoscopy Tech, or Instrument Tech program or specialized training/education in gastroenterology.
1 year experience working in endoscopy or gastroenterology
Speciallized training or education in gastroenterology
