Tenet is seeking an experienced on-shore developer to support and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to serve our multivendor support teams supporting our 68+ Acute Care Hospitals, and 600+ Ambulatory facilities.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with strong consultative and problem solving skills, who is capable of collaborating with various business teams and developers to design and test solutions that enhance our end user experience with minimal guidance. The ServiceNow Developer is considered the technology subject matter expert responsible for the analysis, design, engineering, development and implementation projects within the ServiceNow enterprise application suite. This role is responsible for the development of core functionality, existing ITSM/ITBM/VRM applications, CMDB, Discovery, creation of new applications and understanding the various system integration needs. This is achieved by collaborating with key stakeholder teams to analyze and understand requirements, then transforming the requirements into a valid solution.
Candidate should be able to effectively analyze, design, write program code, test, document, and implement functionally that is technically sound, and seamlessly integrate application systems in accordance with customer requirements, adhering to organizational methodologies and standards. Candidate will be expected to participate in daily operations and CAB meetings. They should respond to production problems and implement immediate restoration solutions across the platform. They should deliver and support end-to-end automated solutions which include technical implementation of the ServiceNow Platform, Core System, and Applications. The Candidate should be able to refine and follow release management best practices (update sets, information sets, cloning, naming conventions, etc.) for customizations and upgrades to the platform and applications. And as a subject matter expert, assist stakeholders with leveraging ServiceNow and facilitating disciplined design and implementation approaches.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of following items:
Minimum of 4 years ServiceNow experience
Experience working in a Scrum Team, demonstrating Agile principles
System / Process Automation (Orchestration) experience
Experience with ServiceNow integrations with third party applications
Experience with System Discovery and License / Entitlement Management desirable
Demonstrated understanding of ITIL processes, operation and procedures
