Summary:

Pediatric ENT Outpatient Services is growing at WMCHealth in Valhalla, NY. We are seeking a full-time specialty trained Physician Assistant join our outpatient and ambulatory practices. In this position, the PA will work alongside experienced physician and Advanced Practice Providers (APP) colleagues medically managing a variety of pediatric ENT ailments and disease processes.

Responsibilities:

• Performing medical evaluations, treatment, follow-up and consultations for our practice based pediatric population.
• Medically triaging and managing consults for the ENT Service such as airway matters, hearing deficits, as well as, providing routine care.
• Gaining a working competency of procedures inclusive of, but not limited to, assisting with nasal endoscopy, flexible nasopharyngolaryngoscopy, tracheotomy care/changes, and cerumen removal.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be board certified as a Physician Assistant and possess or be eligible to obtain an applicable New York State license.
• Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1-year clinical experience, although highly motivated new graduates with interest and abilities in ENT or surgery/medicine subspecialty will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
