Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.
Responsibilities
The Cook prepares and cooks meals according to hospital menus, dietary guidelines, and patient needs. This role ensures food safety, quality, and sanitation standards are met while contributing to a positive dining experience for patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months? cooking experience in a healthcare, commercial, or institutional food service setting.
Knowledge of basic nutrition and therapeutic diets a plus.
