Lovelace Women?s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities
Responsible for decontamination, correct assembly, and sterile processing of all instruments used in the operating room and ambulatory/specialty clinics. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Qualifications
Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and regulatory standards for biological monitoring. Ability to take a lead role in workflow and problem-solve equipment malfunctions.
Preferred Job Requirements
One (1) year of previous job-related experience in Central Supply and/or Sterile Processing experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
National Certification in Sterile Processing or equivalent.
